8:00 am – 10:00 am

3:30 pm - 4:30 pm


START DATE: immediately

APPLICATION : Current Eureka City Schools regular employees who wish to LATERAL TRANSFER from their current position must submit a transfer request form to the Personnel Office by the deadline date. (Please refer to your White Collar Contract for Lateral Transfer language). Probationary employees are not eligible for lateral transfer but may apply as a general applicant.  All other applicants must submit a completed Eureka City Schools District “Classified” Application to the Personnel Office, Rm. 110 or via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. For all other applicants, a Eureka City Schools District Classified application is required along with a copy of a Para Professional certificate OR a copy of a valid California teaching credential. These are the only two certifications  Eureka City Schools accepts for  Instructional Assistant positions.  Emergency Teaching Permits or a BA do not qualify as certification. If you do not hold a Para Professional Certificate, OR a valid California teaching credential, please contact the Humboldt County Office of Education at 445-7039 to schedule an appointment for the Para Professional test and make a notation of your appointment on your application.
