                                              9:00 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. 

START DATE:                     Immediately

Range 35                             $13.48 - $19.93/hr

APPLICATION: Current Eureka City Schools employees who wish to Lateral Transfer from

their current position only need to submit a Transfer Request form to the Personnel

Office. Please refer  to your White Collar Contract for Lateral Transfer language.  For all other

applicants, a Eureka City Schools District “Classified” application is required along with a copy

of a Para Professional certificate OR a copy of a valid California teaching credential. These are

the only two certifications Eureka City Schools accepts for  Instructional Assistant positions. 

Emergency Teaching Permits or a BA do not qualify as certification. If you do not hold a Para

Professional Certificate, OR a valid California teaching credential, please contact the Humboldt

County Office of Education at 445-7039 to schedule an appointment for the Para Professional

test and make a notation of your appointment on your application. Applications must be turned
