MINIMUM DAY FRIDAY AND ALL OF NEXT WEEK 12:50 DISMISSAL
Parent Conferences will begin Friday, March 10 thru Friday March 17th. During conferences we will have an early release time of 12:50pm. We are looking forward to meeting with you to discuss the progress your child is making this year. The drive through in front of the school will be extra busy. PLEASE remain with your vehicle. We will escort your children to your car. This greatly assists with the safety and speed at our dismissal. The after school program will begin at 12:50pm.
Kindergarten registration is still happening at the Eureka City Schools’ District office, located at 2100 J street ( the old
Marshall School ) Eureka. Please be prepared with the
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of immunizations
- CHDP Physical signed by Doctor
- Dental Examination signed by Dentist
- Proof of residence
Foggy Bottoms Milk Run & Walk
The Grant students are encouraged to participate in this great family activity. If you are interested, it takes place in Ferndale on Sunday March 12th at noon. There is a walk or run for everyone in the family! We suggest preregistering at www.foggybottommilkrun.com. Grant families can meet
Mrs. Puzz in front of Tri Counties Bank between 11:30 and 12pm.
National School Breakfast Week
Eureka City Schools offer a free breakfast program to all of our students. Please start your day off right and join us for breakfast this week to celebrate national breakfast week March 6—10.
Please stop by our library when you are on campus during conference week, and check out our book fair. The book fair hours are as follows.
Monday, March 13th, 12:45– 4:00pm
Tuesday, March 14th, 7:45-8:15am & 12:45-4:00pm
Wednesday, March 15th 7:45-8:15am & 12:45-4:30pm
Thursday, March 16th, 7:45-8:15am & 12:45-3:30pm
It is a great way to share the love of books with your children and support our library.
Drop Off Time
Please do not drop your students off at school
before 7:40am. They are not supervised until that time.
This event is sponsored by the Grant School PTA. It is a fundraiser that will support student activities, school improvement projects and events for students K-5th grades. Please help your child brainstorm a list of people they could ask to support them in this event. Please do not let your child go door to door, but only ask people they know. The pledge sheets and money are due Wednesday March 8th, and the event will take place Friday March 10th.
