Complaint Processes at Eureka City Schools
At Eureka City Schools (ECS), we are committed to ensuring that every student has access to a safe, inclusive, and equitable educational experience. Grounded in our mission — "Every Learner, Every Day: Engaged, Empowered, and Future-Ready" — and guided by our core values of accountability, empathy, communication, innovation, and resilience, we maintain transparent and responsive processes to address concerns and protect the rights of all students.
Our Commitment to Students and the Community
Our complaint processes reflect the ECS mission and are aligned with our guiding principles:
- Learner-Centered Experiences – Supporting individualized growth with high expectations.
- Safe, Inclusive, and Belonging Environments – Fostering settings where students feel respected and connected.
- Equitable Access for All – Providing personalized supports that recognize each learner’s unique needs.
- Growth and Resilience – Encouraging perseverance through challenges with a growth mindset.
- Engagement and Relevance – Connecting learning to real-life experiences to foster meaningful education.
At ECS, we are dedicated to listening, responding, and acting with integrity. We encourage students, families, and community members to engage with us in maintaining a supportive and equitable learning environment.
