![]() Welcome to Zoe Barnum High School.
The dedicated, enthusiastic staff at Zoe Barnum High School work tirelessly to provide a personalized education for our students. Small class size allows the teaching staff to develop close relationships with each student. The entire staff meets weekly to discuss concerns and share the successes of our students. This collaboration among staff and mutual awareness of students' progress is a significant factor in their success. As a credit recovery program, Zoe Barnum High School's major focus is the core academic subjects. However, staff value the importance of electives as an exploratory process for students. Under the direction of their teachers or the administration, students can develop independent study projects to fulfill elective credits and to study areas of their particular interest. Participation in community service is stressed at Zoe Barnum High School. A few of the major community service project include: Red Cross Blood Drives; Thanksgiving Food Drive; Christmas Gift Collecting for needy families; American Cancer Society School Relay for Life Teams; volunteering at the Food Bank. The school is also very proud of its Interact Club. This student club works in partnership with the local Rotary Club. To our knowledge, Zoe Barnum may be the only continuation school in California with an Interact Club. Major Achievements:

While Zoe Barnum High School is quite proud of its program offerings, our staff is constantly looking for ways to better meet the needs of our dynamic student body. The best way to gain a real appreciation for the commitment of our staff and the quality of our programs is to see us in action. To all of our parents and community members, I would like to extend a personal invitation for you to stop by for a visit.
