Seuss on the loose in Eureka classrooms

O n March 2, green eggs and ham was a popular dish at several elementary schools. And a quick look around other schools spotted plenty of Cat in the Hat hats. Why? It was all part of district–wide festivities in honor of Dr. Seuss’ 96th birthday and the national event “Read Across America.” The National Education Association’s third–annual Read Across America celebration engaged more than 20 million adults and children across the nation.
