Native American club creates scholarship

E ureka and Humboldt Bay high school students in the Native American club have created a $600 scholarship to help local Native American high school seniors who plan to attend college. The application has been sent to all area high schools. The scholarship money was raised during the clubs’ fund raising activities to produce the biannual conference for local Native American high school students, “Success in Both Worlds.” The Eureka club hosted the recent conference at the Manila Community Center.
