February 2000  Lisa Pace sworn in as Trustee Ward Two | |

L isa Pace was officially sworn in as Trustee Ward 2 during the Eureka City Schools’ governing board regular meeting on December 15. On October 20, the governing board voted to appoint Lisa Pace to the trustee position. Pace replaces board member Karen Torphy–Diemer who did not run for reelection. An 18-year resident of Humboldt County, Pace has taken an active role in Eureka City Schools, both as a parent and school volunteer. She has served on Worthington K-8 School’s Site Council and PTA, Worthington’s strategic plan action team, ECS’ Superintendent’s Advisory Committee, and ECS’ Promotion/Retention Committee.
