Betty Chinn of Eureka was voted "First Lady of the Year" by the
Humboldt County Council of Beta Sigma Phi. This award is presented to a
woman who has made outstanding contributions to her community during the past
year. For many years, Mrs. Chinn has cooked and delivered meals to
homeless individuals twice a day.
Betty Chinn works in Lafayette School's
office and is dearly loved by the parents, staff, and the children.
Many of our staff members have been recognized State and Nationally for their outstanding contributions to education and the youth of our community.
This page will ALWAYS be "under construction" as more and more of our outstanding students leave us and "grow" in the world of adults, achieving and making us all proud of them!
