Coaching positions requires the hired coach to have (or to obtain after being hired and PRIOR to assignment) the following: current First Aid and CPR certification, Coaching certificate (available through a short online course). Cheerleader positions require either a current certification by the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors (Safety Certification Course) or a current certification by the American Red Cross (Sports Safety Course) in lieu of the Coaching Certificate. Upon being hired DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearances and a current TB certification are required. In-House Employees and current walk-on coaches need to submit a letter of interest only. All others please submit the District Classified application form along with letters of recommendation, cover letter and a resume. Stipends for these positions vary in amount depending on the sport and placement and are paid upon completion of the sport season.
