EHS Students Prepare Elementary Students to Fight Fire

Fight Fire is a project from Eureka High East Lab that Bailey Langlois, Kianna Shumard, Katrina Smullin, Jordan Valadao, and Marissa Mayberry developed for Garfield Elementary and Ridgewood Elementary Schools. We gave our presentations on November 28th and 29th to second through fifth graders. Our goal was to inform them on the dangers of fire and how to be safe during a fire. It included a slide show and a game of jeopardy. We had an EFD fire fighter come in and talk to them as well as a trained fire dog that taught them how to stop, drop and roll. We decided to do this project because we wanted to keep the younger generation informed about fire safety and keep them safe.
