RESOURCE AND REFERRAL SERVICES- our staff is available to ensure you have full access & connection to the multitude of programs, services and resources available to the community of Eureka

INTERNET/COMPUTER ACCESS- in order to connect you to the resources and opportunities our community has to offer, the FRC has free access to state-of-the-art computers, printers and internet

TELEPHONE USE- available for local calls

EMERGENCY FOOD CLOSET-we can help connect you to food stamps, ECS’s school free breakfast and lunch program, the local Food Bank, and Eureka’s Free Meal or come pick up a bag of groceries at the FRC’s Food Closet

CLOTHING CLOSET - the FRC has a clothing closet available filled with gently used clothing

HOUSING- the FRC gives you access to the myriad of rental lists, shelters and supportive housing programs of Eureka

MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING- connection to counseling services in the community for students and families

PRE-SCHOOL ENROLLMENT- The FRC works to connect your child to eligibility and referral to Eureka’s preschools
- HYGEINE SUPPLIES- the FRC provides you with soaps, shampoo and toothbrushes among other toiletries
EUREKA CITY SCHOOLS’ SUPPORT

LAUNDRY VOUCHERS- to assist you with lice or in emergency situations, vouchers are available for local laundromats so your children can be in school

BACKPACKS– this essential ‘school tool” is available to any Eureka City School’s student in need

SCHOOL SUPPLIES-available anytime to help foster full school participation and success

SCHOOL LIAISONS- support and advocacy for a positive & successful Eureka City School’s experience

SCHOOL REGISTRATION- help connecting you to the schools & programs of Eureka City Schools

SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION FOR PARENTS- to foster parent’s participation in their children’s ECS school experience we can help with transportation to
parent/teacher meetings, IEPs & necessary school functions -
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING- connection to counseling services for students and families
ECS’s HOMELESS STUDENT’S SUPPORT
The FRC has additional supports available for students staying in: motels, shelters, transitional houses, camping, couch surfing, doubled up in another family’s home and on the streets-

SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION to and from a Eureka City School of attendance as well as a neighboring school district so a homeless student can remain in their ‘school of origin’ until the end of the school year

MC KINNEY HOMELESS ASSISTANCE ACT- support to ensure that the rights & responsibilities of homeless ECS students are met in our schools Including:
