Humboldt County Farm Bureau Scholarships – Deadline 4/1/17

The Humboldt County Farm Bureau is offering four different scholarships for Humboldt County High School Graduates that major or minor in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Production Forestry, Science, Education or Vocational Education and are attending an accredited Junior College, four-year College, or Vocational School.

  1. Henri and Lanette Rousseau Memorial Scholarship

  • This scholarship is for students with a major or minor in Agriculture, Science, Education or Vocational Education.

  1. Gene Whitney Forestry Production Scholarship

  • This scholarship is for students pursuing a career in Production Forestry or a Natural Resources which provides support to the Forest Production Industry. Students must attend College of the Redwoods, Humboldt State University, or other colleges offering forestry classes and institutions of higher learning may be approved by the Scholarship Committee.

  1. Sterling F. Paddock Memorial Scholarship

  • Qualifying applicants must major or minor in Agriculture, Agricultural related fields, Vocational Training or General Education with an intent to pursue agriculture as a career. Special consideration will be given to students who have demonstrated a real interest in the agriculture (family being a Humboldt County Farm Bureau Agriculture member).

  1. Humboldt County Wool Growers Association Scholarship

  • Students must major or minor in Agriculture with consideration given to experience in sheep, livestock, or wool production.
