Spring Blood Drive 2015
- Published: Wednesday, April 8, 2015
Eureka High school and the North Coast Blood Bank held the annual Spring Blood Drive, and, thanks to the community, it was an amazing success. On March 25th and 26th, the Blood Drive saw over 160 EHS students and staff donate, with 135 pints of blood collected. Potentially, 405 lives will be saved because of this event!
All of these donations will be put to great use as nearly 40 thousand pints of blood are used each day in the United States, and high school donors make up 10-12% of all donors. Donating blood only takes 45 minutes and will last someone else a life time. Donors may donate again after 6 weeks prior to their last donation. The EHS student coordinators, Bailey Langlois, Jordan Thayer, Kendall Ludtke, Tanner Levitt and Paige Harris thank everyone for donating and we hope to see you next time!
