The staff and I are busy preparing for the coming outstanding academic year. We are joining Eureka High School in implementing a Collaboration Monday Schedule. Each Monday will be a shortened day schedule with an early student dismissal.
The goal of the collaboration is to enhance the quality of education for your students. Research has proven having time for teachers to collaborate on curriculum and instruction increases student achievement. This valuable time will be used for our schools to move forward with full implementation of the new California Common Core State Standards.
Our Collaboration Mondays begin on September 9th and continue every Monday throughout the school year. All students will be dismissed at 1:55 p.m.
Exceptions to this schedule will be:
Parent Conference Days November 4th – November 12th with a student release time of 12:50 p.m.
The last day of school, June 12th, with a student release time of 12:20 p.m.
