 “Best in the West” Award~ Some 235 SPARCs from K-12 schools throughout the state were submitted this year for award consideration, with only 60% receiving some level of recognition. Peer review of report cards in Northern and Southern California determined award status. The SPARC is a continuous improvement document that gives school counseling and student support programs an opportunity to demonstrate effective communication and a commitment to getting results. |
| CSF ~ California Scholarship Federation The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) membership for Spring 2008 is based on Fall Semester 2007 coursework and grades. The application deadline is Monday, March 31, 2008. Click here for application. |
| Interested in tutoring help? The EHS Tutoring Center is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:15 to 5:00 p.m. in the library. For students who normally take the bus, we will be running a late bus at 5:00 p.m. The center is staffed with tutors from AmeriCorps, Talent Search, and College Knowledge. PowerSchool is our Web-based student information system for students, parents, and teachers. Through PowerSchool you can monitor grades and homework progress, check attendance, read the daily bulletin and send e-mail to teachers.
