Principal's Message
Eureka High School continues to be the educational leader on the North Coast. Even during times of economic cutbacks, EHS continues to offer a wide variety of course offerings both in the core curriculum and the elective program.
Our electives offer students the opportunity to explore areas of their interest. Whether it is through EAST, NJROTC, visual and/or performing arts, the agriculture program, or industrial technologies offerings students are bound to find an area of interest. Our extensive Career and Technical Education program offered in conjunction with the Humboldt Regional Occupation Program provide a wide variety of options for students to learn hands-on skills that can then be applied either in a vocational program following high school or directly into the job market.
The core subjects are taught by an amazing staff of dedicated individuals that have the best interest of students at heart. Their rigorous, standards driven curriculum will help prepare students for their next steps after high school graduation.
The EHS campus is looking amazing and students and families are impressed with the projects that have been completed during our modernization bond projects. Our newly remodeled Information Technology building has some amazing offerings. The state of the art lecture hall is a must see on a visit to the campus. An upcoming project will be the completion of the Community Media Center, ran in conjunction with the community organization Humboldt Access.
I invite anyone to stop by, see our facility, meet the staff, and inquire into additional information about Eureka High School. Visitors are welcome through the information office in the main building or can schedule an appointment by calling 441-2508.
Thank you,
Kevin Scheffler
