Youth Education Against Homophobia

Y.E.A.H! is a Eureka High School club open to ALL students (straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning). Recognizing that on our campus, as on campuses around the country, LGBTQ students are bullied, harassed, and otherwise put at risk everyday, the club works to create a safe, accepting, supportive environment for LGBTQ students at EHS and within in the community as a whole.

Y.E.A.H! meets Wednesdays at lunch in m118. Come join us!

Y.E.A.H! offers trainings for faculty, staff, students, and other groups (PTSA, AmeriCorps, etc.) ranging from short (15 minute) presentations to longer interactive sessions (up to 4 hours).

In addition, we can provide informational pamphlets, flyers, and posters on homophobia, the California School Safety and Violence Prevention Act (AB 537), and related topics.

To request a training, schedule a classroom visit, or simply to get more information, please contact:
