  Description
 

The Performing Arts: Theater Pathway encourages emerging actors and
stage technicians. Students learn stage presence, movement, voice,
characterization, ensemble, and play production. These skills will provide participants with personal confidence and a dedication to the idea of community that will serve them far beyond high school.

Theater Arts 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, and at least one Theater Arts-related elective as listed

Freshman Arts Selective, Shakespeare, Sewing with an emphasis in Costume, Drafting with an emphasis on set design, Media Arts with an emphasis in Theater, Choral Music, Drama as Literature (course still in development). A second elective may be substituted for Theater Arts 3B with Theater Arts teacher's permission.

Participation in a show senior year. This show may be staged by EHS, a community theater company, or a college theater company. Students will receive a supplemental diploma and an honorary sash at graduation.
