  Description
 

The Service Learning Merit Scholar Pathway at Eureka High School will reward students that complete a total of 200 hours or more of community service during their high school career. The Service Learning Merit Scholar hours can be accumulated from the result of school activities, through community groups (4-H, Girl/Boy Scouts, etc), or church groups for example.

The culminating event will be the Senior Project, where students will design and implement a complex service learning project. To receive the honors of a Service Learning Merit Scholar, a senior project must be completed.

Students will organize and execute a complex service learning project. Which will need to receive prior approval from the Service. Students will receive an additional diploma, honorary sash, and be eligible for service related scholarships.
