Students in the Performing Arts Music Pathway will participate in a Major Performing Ensemble each semester of your four years at EHS

INSTRUMENTAL
Concert Band
Symphonic Band
Wind Ensemble
VOCAL
Concert Choir
Mixed Ensemble
Limited Edition

Students will also complete AP Music Theory or completion of an Internet music theory program. See instructor for details.

Students will complete a Secondary Performing Ensemble (2 semesters)

Senior Project

Select one
1. Participation in a recital that includes solo and small ensemble music. This will occur during the Spring Semester. Music must be chosen well enough in advance so that appropriate time is given for public performance.
2. Composing project – composition will be performed at the spring semester recital or at one of the spring concerts for the Major Ensembles if appropriate
3. Internship – See instructor to design and agree upon an appropriate internship at the start of the fall semester in the student’s senior year.
4. Propose your own project. Must be approved at the start of the fall semester in the student’s senior year.
