  Description
 

The Gilder Lehrman American History Pathway will provide students a four year intensive and comprehensive study of US History as well as an opportunity to develop and demonstrate advanced research and presentation skills. Students will have the opportunity to earn as many as thirteen college credits in Gilder Lerhman. Seven one unit classes will be taught by HSU professors and students could earn six additional units by passing the AP US History and AP Government tests. Each year in the Gilder Lerhman Program students will create a History Day Project and present it at the Humboldt County History Day competition. Finally, students will travel to historic sites such as Washington D.C. as part of their study of US History.
