An independent survey of voters in the Eureka City School District shows strong support for a potential 2014 bond measure to repair aging, deteriorating schools throughout the District.
The survey, conducted in the Fall by the highly respected opinion research firm of Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin, Metz & Associates, shows as much as 63% of respondents would support a local education funding measure in November 2014, well above the 55% threshold needed for passage.
The Eureka City School District commissioned the survey to obtain the public’s feedback on project priorities at its school sites, and to assess potential interest in a local educational bond measure in 2014.
